MDDS-LLM platform documentation

Securely connect, share, and monitor healthcare integration channels across organizations.

MDDS-LLM is a healthcare integration platform built on Open Integration Engine — the open-source continuation of Mirth Connect. It lets healthcare organizations run integration servers, expose channels, and securely share data peer-to-peer with partner organizations, all from a single web interface.

This documentation is for the people who use the platform every day: integration engineers, system administrators, and operators at healthcare organizations.

Connect with partners

Find organizations in the Directory, send a peering request, and form an agreement that lets you exchange data securely.

Share channels safely

Publish channels from your servers and grant specific partners access — without exposing your network or copying credentials by hand.

Provision P2P connections

Stand up encrypted peer-to-peer tunnels (WebRTC / mTLS) between servers, with no inbound firewall changes required.

Monitor your fleet

Watch real-time connectivity, channel throughput, and server health — and get alerted when something needs attention.
